It was during 1985-86 when I was struggling to Board Bangalore- Mangalore bus, with my three kids and two suit-cases,a good samaritan came for my help who introduced himself as Dr. Joe.

Three and a half decades ago, when all of us left hopes, Dr. Joe, was our God sent angel who gave my sister, Winjoy a second life…a life that is so healthy and able, after going through such a major surgery for a spine disaster it was not only his skill we admire today but also his charismatic attitude that was a booster dose for her speedy and healthy recovery.
We are sure that he is definitely resting peacefully in HIS arms. We take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, sons and rest of the family.
At this juncture, we need people like Dr. Joe and we hope God sends plenty of them to cure and save HIS people.

| Saddened to hear the demise of well known orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Joe D'Souza. I was his patient with Cha.Fra.DeCosta when we met with a motor bike accident right in front of Fr. Muller's Hospital and he treated both of us to get well. May his soul rest in peace and may God Almighty grant his wife Serena and all loved ones enough strength to bear this loss.
