Allan was a great source of inspiration to me as a journalist while at Bangalore when he worked for the Indian Express and the City Tab Tabloid. With his skill and interest in investigative journalism in the late eighties, he exposed an organized gang of criminals who stole petrol from tankers and replaced it with contaminated fuel.
The news of his sudden departure comes as a shock. My prayers are with Allen’s family. May his soul rest in peace.
