At his birth, my parents named Fr. Peter Th. D'Souza, Theodore, meaning gift of God. He was the eldest Child. So they also named him Peter.I thank God for making him a gift to the family, the Church and the society at large. Following his example I joined the Convent. May he now pray for all those who remember him at his death, in diiffernt ways.

Rev. Dr. Peter Theodore D'Souza was my Principal in Milagres College, Kallianpur and also taught us English Subject. A very humble and down to earth person and treated his students with love and care and individual attention. His way of teaching English still fresh in my memories. In the evenings, he was reading his Breviary and reciting rosary alone walking on the grounds of Mount Rosary Parish, Santhekatte.

Seldom we come across such prayerful and inspiring priests. In spite of being a Doctorate in English from US and a Green Card Holder, he was very humble, loving, caring and devout in his words and deeds. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Fr. Peter was a very good Principal, Parish Priest & a Dynamic Personality. He was my Principal in Milagres College & Parish Priest of Mt. Rosary Church. He was the first one to introduce a short & sweet cermon of 10 minuites & one hour Sunday mass. Fr. Peter, I am sure, Peter is ready to welcome you in Heaven.

At the outset, I would like to convey my heartfelt condolences to Fr. Peter's fly. I remember Father Principal as a gentle, soft spoken person. I am from the 1st batch of 13 students of English Literature (1978-79) and was privileged to be taught by him. He had hand picked the 13 of us out of a batch of almost 100 students. Initially I was apprehensive about doing my B.A. in Eng. Lit. since I had come from a Kannada medium background. However, he encouraged me to take it up and I have had no regrets since. Soon after graduation I moved to B'bay. I've not met anyone from Milagres College since I settled here, but I got nostalgic after seeing Fr. Peter's photo in the obituary column. I was awestruck when I read about his academic achievements which I wasn't aware of. I salute you, Father. May God grant his soul eternal rest.
