| It’s a big loss for us which are missing a melodious voice Ivan Dattu-(Mohammed Rafi) of Konkani music. and personally speaking it’s a loss for me as neighbor because I cannot listen his voice any more. Whenever I visited to his home he was always welcoming with his song i. e. mogre-mogre mogre monun . So right now it won’t be there at all. May Almighty God rest him in peace. | My dear family members of Ivan Dattu, I have received many gifts from Ivan in music and he was a good friend to my late father. His ed words and cheerful smile comes always in front of my eyes. Almost everytime, he used to hum famous song in Kannada 'Noorondu Nenapu' when I was small, is melodious song of my life. Today I am enjoying music in the UAE with Ivan's cousin Lancy especially in choir. I am not there today to say good bye to him personally but I have faith that he is already enjoying eternal happiness. Our sincere condolences to you - his dear family members. |
