Henry uncle, you are really a gift to konkani music. your songs are very simple but touches one's heart. you have used contrast to make the melody interesting. The rhythmic sequences helps the melodies to feel satisfying as a whole. There is climax and articulation in the music. Thank you for giving the best to the konkani music. May god keep you in good health and happiness. |

| As a child when I used to hear to the konkani song 'Ami Doghi Sezhara' & 'Ye Ye Katrina" in Bombay,I use to wonder who might be this great Composer of these songs and happy to know that he is none other than Mr. Henry D'Souza. It may be noted that 'Ami Doghi Sezhara' is the mother of all Konkani songs, one of the oldest Goan folk song which is still show-cased by the Goa Govt. to the out-state tourist during their cultural entertainment, represent the roots of Mangalorean Konkani Catholic accent and the words used by us till date. Dev Bore Korum Tumka. |
