From the editor’s desk :-
Dear Music lovers,
The life span between childhood and adulthood is full of fun and frolic. That is why this age in one’s life could be called as ‘Golden Age’, an age attracted to merry making, a tension-free life, popularly termed as ‘Bindaas life’. None of us will ever forget those nostalgic days of our youth. But alas, if we have failed to make good use of those lovely days, mind you… they are never going to return.
Today in this episode of ‘Do..Re..Me..Fa..’ I’m going to present to you a character… who is very young and bubbling and if I am not wrong, I have never presented such a young music talent on this portal, a young shining star from the ‘Talent Cradle’ of Mangalore diocese, i.e. ‘Angelore’. Nevertheless with his maiden cassette ‘Baila–Boom’ this shining star, the Kishore Kumar of our modern generation, a ‘Yuva Prathiba’ suddenly transformed into a ‘Mega Star’ with a big ‘Boom’. Are you wondering whom I am referring to? If so, let me disclose. He is none other than Baila–Boom Boom, Shri Maxim Pereira.
I trust like other episodes of mine, you will enjoy listening to this special ‘young’ chord too. It is my wish, that many of our youngsters may take example of ‘Shri Maxim Pereira’ and by making good use of their talents, shine in this world and make great use of their youthful days.
I shall see you again next month with another sweet chord of music on this exclusive music column. Until then, bye.
Gerry D’Mello, Bendur.

Try repeatedly before your youth fades away, and you will definitely succeed”, further adds Maxim. At the young age of 32, Maxim is a shining model for the youth with his great talents and forceful drive. He rightly bagged the honour of “Yuva Pratibha” at the “Konkani Darbar-2002!”
