Madikeri/Coorg is really a beautiful place. Cool & pleasant you will not feel tiredness over there while traveling. The water falls, coffee estates, natural sanctuaries, Dams, Tibetian colony all are really amazing. Those who visit Coorg must visit Bailkoppa the Tibetian’s refugee colony. You feel you are in a developed country. The development work in agriculture, farming, construction done by these Tibetian’s is appreciable. Even though thousands of tourists visiting this place daily each and every corner of Bailkoppa has been kept clean and neat by them. They have maintained and make use of the land given to them as their own mother land.
Our politicians instead of visiting China to see & learn their agriculture work could visit this Bailkopaa and save lots of money of our country. But politicians will not put their nose to Bailkoppa because those Tibetans staying there don’t have the voting rights !!!!!!!. Thanks God because of this reason this land is not polluted by the politicians visit and interference. This may be the secret of Bailkoppa’s development. Some thing to think about………. |

| Kodagu is the Switzerland of India. Unfortunately both state and central Govts. have failed to promote it on the International Tourist Map. |

| Great Pics Mounesh!!! I had trekked through the rains forests once and had even stayed near the Pushpagiri falls. I must say it was an out-of-the-world experience to camp in the thick forests there. |

| thanks for nice pics.I had been to coorg in september october months.I want just know that wheather this beautiful scenary will be in all seasons or only in rainy and winter season.Mr Eric commented about mangalore and its beauty.ofcourse mangalore and udupi are beautiful but only in two seasons.and by staying away from india, specially in middle east we are attached with this buildings and malls also dinar, dhirams.after earning these currencies the hunger of money will not be going.then going and staying at mangalore for 2 or 3 months is a dream. we have to think our native and settle there soon,to improve our culture, our health etc. |

| The landscape is beautiful. An area to take long walks, to recover and to escape the pollution, traffic jams of big cities. India offers lots of places, areas to go on holiday and Coorg distric is a good example. Indians do not need to go abroad for holiday, they shall enjoy the beauty and nature of Coorg. This article and the photographs will attract lots of readers of Daijiworld to consider to spend some days in Coorg. Best Kurt |

With this kind of Beautiful God Gifted nature we do not require shopping Malls and Food Courts for our week end Visits. With such Tourist Spots, what we spend every week end in Shopping Malls and Food Courts should be well utilised to visit these spots thus getting away from the Noisy and Polluted atmosphere. There are beautiful spots in Mangalore and D.K. and if the People of Mangalore have some Love for Nature could have prevented many disasters. Now we are in the concrete junge filled with Buildings, Shoppings Malls,Food Courts, Traffic noise and Pollution thus forcing us to go far away to enjoy our Holidays.
WE do not have to go to Europe and china or any other country to enjoy to Gifted Nature. We have enough in Mangalore and D.K. Because of Bad Infrastructure we are forced to spend our money outside Mangalore and India. When Good Sense will prevail needs to be seen. |
