Voice of the Newborn

Voice of the Newborn

Oh… I woke up to life just now; feeling so cold;
Suddenly my little eyes gazed at you
In panic for a while; with your mask and dressing;
When you supported me with your divine hands by touching;
Though I was irritating you with my cry and smile,
You joyously wrapped me with a warm cloth and hugged me for a while;

You assisted me to suck breastmilk; patted me with your warm hands;
While I, sent out angry wails due to insufficient milk,
You helped me fill my stomach with no one there;

Showering me with love and care, you turned out
My first mother, my support…When I was wetting my diaper effortlessly with a vigorous cry,
you made me keep clean and dry;
In my tiny little world, you became my guardian angel.
As I prayed continuously to God, he gifted me you
