Change is Only Constant…Adapt Positive Changes

November 6, 2020

"The journey of a thousand miles begins from a small step".

Change is only constant in the present era. Uniqueness is the most important factor that differentiates & makes us outstanding from the lot (crowd) of people around us. God has created humans with different talents, skills, emotions, IQs,... But we humans tend to copy each other's lifestyle, ideas, thoughts. Each one of us has brains to think out of the box and make a difference.

One person's thought can bring a revolutionary change in the world. Our thought may create a big difference in the perception of looking at the things in a unique and different dimension from others. Every Scientist, Thinker, Philosopher has made a difference from thinking out of the box and utilising their brain properly at the right time and at the right place. When they can bring differences, why can't we? Why we hesitate to use our brains, to think, to create a difference. .. What is stopping us from doing so?

Society's thoughts are stopping us from creating a difference, you may ask me how, the answer is within us.. "What others will think of me is the biggest hindrance which stops us from making the difference". We are always worried about others opinions about us. For us, others opinion matters the most, we bother and worry for the societies thoughts we give priority, significance to others opinion. But in this entire shit we are nowhere in the picture. "Our soul, our individual identity is lost in this". Whom to blame now? We should blame ourselves because we are the ones who bother on other’s opinion about ourselves. We don't give a damn thought that it's our life, I know myself better than others, but still act like stupid and live on other's opinions. Let's stop bothering about others opinion about us. "Only I know myself better", should be the mantra of each one's life. Then only we can make the difference.

Now it's the time to come out of this old thinking, practise of: what others will think about me. We have wasted many ideas & thoughts. But now still there is time to give importance & priority to our own opinion and make the difference. Let's leave the past thinking and change ourselves by giving more importance to our thought, ideologies, and create a change. Let us leave the past thinking & practices and let's think practically and bring a change in ourselves and others.

Let's think out of the box, and "let's put out our own thoughts into action and bring about a good change". Time is running so fast, no one can control this time. So let's don't waste any more time and let us work on bringing a difference in ourselves and the society at large. We have the opportunity to be unique and be the great person like others. Let’s write our own history and create a history and not read the history of others. Till now we had the habit of reading history of great persons," let us make the difference by creating our own history so that future generations can read me. “If everyone starts to think like this then our country will be elsewhere.

Positive attitude is the key factor to make a difference. It's not that easy to make a difference. Many pebbles, rocks will come on our way but we need to be positive and accept the challenges and cross it. So only people could make a difference till now, because we lack positivity in our life. We always think negatively when the situation is not in our favour. So first we need to develop positivity in our life and in our thoughts then only we can take steps to make a difference and write our history.

We have the power in us to create a history for the future generations. Let's arise, awake, think and make the difference. This pandemic has given me the chance to be unique and do something that creates a difference and I did it, I utilized my time fruitfully by discovering talents in me and was successful too. I participated in many online activities and got a huge experience and gained immense knowledge which makes me unique.

I am proud of myself that "I have created a difference and changed myself to a better version of me". I have learnt to utilize my brain in the best possible way and follow my passion and dreams by not giving any damn thought to others' opinions about myself. I have my opinions and I am matured enough to realise what is good and what is bad for me. "I know myself better than anyone." This thought motivated me to make the difference. And gave a new path towards my success. We need to put efforts to our dreams, to turn our dreams to achievements. All can dream many things but only few can fulfil their dreams, now you may ask me how? The answer is very simple, all know to dream big, but only few know to put equal efforts to achieve their dreams and create a difference. I am the luckiest person because I know how to convert my dream to the reality and make the difference.

All are capable to bring the change, it's just that we need to give importance and priority to our own thoughts and opinions and stop wasting our lives from living on other's opinion. All can make the difference. God has given all of us unique talents and skills. It's just that we need to identify our talents and skills and put equal efforts to change our dreams into reality. Thus I can make the difference and I will make the difference.

All can make a difference.

Dear Divya: Young as you are, you are mature in the realm of ideas and corresponding action. Turning the Covid + to advantage and getting huge experience and immense knowledge made you unique. Your final take home summarizes it all:
“I can make the difference and I will make the difference. All can make the difference.”
For your much younger readers I have a story from my school days – 1940s.
Two frogs fell into a half-full glass of milk. They couldn’t jump out because there was nothing hard bollast from which they could manage the jump. One of the two despaired and sank to the bottom –and died. The dead frog released some chemicals that curdled the milk. The live frog decided to have fun even if it had to die and lolled in the curdling milk. Finally there emerged on the surface a ball of curdled milk. The optimistic frog jumped on milk ball and from there out of the glass – to live on. Optimism pays!

Excellent writing Divya. I am living my life like what you have written. I always live with what I want to do. I don't care what others will speak about me. But it is also difficult. we have the mentality that we don't want anyone to show fingers at us. As long as you are single your thinking is right, correct and perfect. Once you become double my second paragraph is applicable to you!
See the other angle of it. Being a family person if I want to do my own my wife, children, brothers, sisters, family people can make fun of me because we can not face FAIL, SHAME, INSULT. Unfortunately without these 3 one can not be successful in life.
